The company designs waste containers that can be installed at a depth of 0.5 meters below ground and also has ways to give old containers a “facelift”.
Luowia Collection Oy, established in late 2013, specializes in solving waste collection issues in modern society. The company has developed waste containers that can be installed at the traditional depth of 1.5 meters below ground as well as at a depth of 0.5 meters below ground or entirely above ground.
“In developed societies, the existing infrastructure of city centers may include a crisscross of water pipes, sewers and power cables at a depth of about one meter. Containers installed at a depth of 0.5 meters below ground are ideal for urban areas because they can be installed almost anywhere,” says Jukka Blom, the Managing Director of Luowia Collection Oy.
The natural conditions, for example bedrock or high groundwater, in other built-up areas as well as rural areas may also prevent containers from being installed deep underground. In areas such as these, waste containers installed at a depth of 0.5 meters below ground or entirely above ground are excellent options.
The company’s other innovation has been to make the cladding elements of Luowia Collection waste containers compatible with most waste containers available on the market, allowing you to give your old containers a modern look.
“The Luowia Collection cladding elements can be, for example, added to any existing waste containers at the same time as the installation of new containers. New cladding is also a cost-effective ‘facelift’ when the appearance of old containers no longer meets your current needs but when there is no desire to entirely replace the containers,” Blom explains.
What makes the Luowia Collection containers unique is the cladding elements that fit on all three sides of our containers and allow the containers to match the environment they have been placed in.
